Education
Ajinkya is pursuing his master’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington in Data Science at the Luddy school of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, India.

Background
Ajinkya has worked as a Research Assistant at the Indiana University Cognitive Laboratory wherein he worked on state-of-the-art NLP techniques to decode human interaction. In spring 2021, Ajinkya worked with the Indian Space Research Organization for a 6-month project in Computer Vision techniques for Speckle Noise Removal in RISAT-1 SAR Satellite Images. Ajinkya has also worked as a machine learning intern at a US based start-up - Wikilimo to create time series prediction models in the agriculture domain using deep learning techniques like LSTM to predict pest infestation in rice and cotton crops. In the summer of 2019, Ajinkya worked as a summer academic intern at the National University of Singapore where he won scholarship for his excellent academic performance in the Big Data Analytics and Deep Learning Internship Programme wherein, he worked on computer vision techniques using Convolutional Neural Networks to detect defects in vehicle tires.

Personal
Ajinkya is an avid puzzler and likes to solve the Rubiks cube. In his free time, he likes to do escape-rooms, read books, play football, and enjoy pc gaming.
