EDUCATION

Projects

As the senior designer at the CNS and co-curator of the Places & Spaces exhibit, I work on a lot of different projects that span many different disciplines. I'm interested in combining visual design principles to data sets that pertain to science and creating useful visualizations that are easily understood as well as aesthetically pleasing. I'm very interested in collaboration! If you'd like to work with me, contact me here: mstamper@indiana.edu

Technical Expertise

I have many talents and apply my knowledge and technical expertise to all sorts of projects. I'm the lead designer, copy writer, video producer, coordinator, etc. If something needs done, I will do it or learn how to do it.

Hobbies, Interests & Awards

I have many interests and hobbies, but a few of my favorite things (outside of working at CNS) are learning and trying new things, information science, information visualizations, road cycling, photography, traveling, Indochine, cooking, hiking, reading, and working on things that don't involve looking at glowing screens.

While working in the world of advertising I've been part of creative and design teams that have won ADDYS from the American Advertising Federation and several other awards. While I was an undergrad I was the recipient of the Wolf Scholarship award for outstanding students studying design.
